The view from the condo was beautiful! The kitchen and living areas spacious and liked the updated flooring, the but the bathrooms were a little small. We were looking for cooler in the closet to Take to the beach, found out at the end of our stay they were in the laundry room. Appreciated that the laundry room was free and open 24 hrs, though a little out of the way. Would rather have laundry in room. Over all amazing, would stay again

We found this property to be great for us! Our unit was beautifully updated, comfortable and clean.

The weather was inclement for much of our stay, so we were especially happy that our apartment was tastefully appointed for the use of adults, as we came without grandchildren. Very nice layout and features in the apartment.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Joy & Phil’s place. The location was great, and the views were amazing. The check in and check out processes were very simple. The resort employees were incredibly friendly. We loved swimming in the ocean and in the giant pool at the resort. We would love to go back!

This is our third year at Sand Cay and our second year in unit 319. We love the property, and the unit had a beautiful new couch in the sitting area as well as some other small improvements-such as a drink cart, lighting in the closets and additional drawers too. The second bedroom had a better layout with a desk as well. We love that beach chairs and towels are provided as well. We truly love our stays at Sand Cay!

If you are searching for the perfect location for a relaxing, quiet beach vacation that offers amazing views and the friendliest staff, look no further than Sand Cay!! The resort is immaculate and the location is convenient to shopping centers, restaurants, etc but far enough away from those locations to provide peace and quiet to just sit on the patio and enjoy the sounds of the waves hitting the beach. I cannot state enough how friendly and accommodating the staff is easy to see that they love what they do.

Very clean, very well stocked. The staff is professional and personable. The unit was very well laid out and close to everything. Can't control the red tide, we understand. We also appreciate being able to reschedule after COVID last year.

We've been going to Sand Cay since 1978 - its a wonderful place to relax, enjoy the beach and thegorgeous sunsets!

We absolutely loved our stay! The view is amazing, and it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. We found the area to be very relaxing with no big crowds. It was the perfect vacation we needed.

We stayed here for one week of our 50th anniversary getaway. We loved it. We stayed at sandcay before but this unit 319 was the best one yet. It was clean, new finishes, it felt like a brand new unit! Super comfy. Loved it!

Quick getaway with daughter who is at university of Tampa. Unit 319 had great view of the beach and ocean and was clean and comfortable.

This is the perfect location. Longboat Key is a quiet area with lots of natural beauty. We had a great stay in this very nice condo with great amenities and everything you could need. It was decorated nicely and very comfortable. The pool was very nice and all the things in this complex kept up very nicely. The kitchen was very well equipped for any cooking you might want to do. There is no washer and dryer but was easy to go down and use the free washers and dryers by the pool. The beach chairs and umbrellas were a great self serve option that allowed you to sit out into the evening if you desired and everyone is responsible to put your own things back each day and everyone did! The grounds of the complex are very nice with tennis/pickle ball court, shuffleboard, and a saltwater pool. Will definitely consider staying here again. Thank you !

The first time I stayed at Sand Cay my experience was so incredible! It was during Thanksgiving, and it was cold for me, but I loved it. I decided thats where I wanted to go for my 50th birthday. It was even more excellent! I loved the area, the units and amenities. The second did not however have any movie network access to Amazon movies, Netflix or Disney, but the first did so I suggest asking about the unit, everything else was fantastic. I highly recommend for anyone interested in a home like feel on a tropical retreat! The staff is superb.

This is such a beautiful place the photos don’t do it justice! From the moment we walked in we were surprised at how big and open the apartment is! The view from the huge picture window and glass door to the large balcony was stunning! The beach is so close you see the waves at night. The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. The furniture and beds comfortable and we loved the master bath. Everything you can think of was provided. No details for a perfect beach getaway were overlooked! We can’t wait to go back!

We absolutely LOVE Sand Cay, and will be staying there for years to come. This is our 2nd stay at Sand Cay, and unit 319 needs some TLC. We would not stay in this unit again.

Five Stars Property was clean, beach was wonderful. Dinner at Maison blanche was unbelievable so we highly recommend that while staying here. Very enjoyable time for the group of 4 we had.

Well stocked, clean and comfortable unit with an awesome beachfront view. Unit has a beach umbrella and coolers and having the beach chairs already on the beach is a huge help. Less to carry! Sand Cay is very well managed and maintained with helpful staff. The tropical ambiance is lovely.Looking forward to staying here again.

Love longboat Key

5/5Spring break in Longboat KeyOur family enjoyed a few days at this lovely condo! The view is wonderful from the patio. We loved being steps away from the beach. The beach loungers included by the resort we’re a nice amenity, as well as the umbrella in the unit. Condo was clean and the office staff were so friendly and helpful. We went to Armand’s circle (I think it’s called) two nights, fun shopping and dining. We’d never stayed in Longboat and I’d go back. It’s quieter than many beach areas. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had such a wonderful 6 week stay. Our unit was exactly as pictured and quite clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The views of the gulf were magnificent from inside our unit and on the patio. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. We used the beach and the pool daily. Pool was clean and beach was never too crowded. Really can’t say enough good things about this little bit of paradise.

We stayed in 319 and were very happy with the property. The location was ideal for us, quiet and a little more remote than some of the other areas. Yet everything was a short drive away. The condo was in great shape and had all the amenities you would need.

Star Star Star Star Star This condo was perfect for our family of 4! The kids ran in and loved everything about it. We did the puzzles right away and they liked looking at the stars at night with the telescope provided. The views were amazing. The pool could use a little more cleaning but I’m thinking it’s because more people were in the pool than normal with Red Tide and all. Great location a lot of great places to eat and so many beaches to choose from!

Beautiful balcony to just sit and unwind. Everything you need. Just bring your flip flops. Sand gets hot!We loved our stay. It was the perfect space for us to kick back and relax. Unfortunately cut it short because of an upcoming storm but would 100% stay again.

Star Star 319 Sand Cay is a lovely unit, with high ceilings, great views over the gulf and a nice patio on which to enjoy them. We had a post-vaccination family gathering and it could not have been more comfortable. Great kitchen, well stocked. The unit feels very private. Grounds are nicely maintained. We had a wonderful experience at Sand Cay last week. It was our first time there. Our unit was very clean and well taken care of. The complex was very quiet and the other guests were friendly and considerate. Guests were family groups like we were. We got home on Sunday and I booked our next trip there on Monday.

Our family of 6 loved our time at the Sand Cay in Unit 319. Everything was just a described. Light and airy unit with a beautiful view. The beds were comfortable, but the sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable. It really needs some attention if anyone older than a child is to sleep on it. Kitchen was well stocked and felt like home in many ways. Very happy with our time there!

This is my first VRBO stay ever. I was prepared with my own bedding and cleaning supplies and didn’t need any of them. This unit was extremely clean, the property was perfect and the location was excellent. We will be back.

My husband and I recently had a very pleasant stay in Sand Cay 319. The booking of this condo through the resort office was easy and our pre-stay questions were quickly answered by the friendly office staff.The condo was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. The location gave us a magnificent view of the beach and ocean. An added plus was the sunny balcony which was protected from the wind and made the cooler days of January very tolerable.The resort is located in the middle of Longboat with many restaurants close by. We particularly enjoyed our meals at the Lazy Lobster. We also enjoyed our walks in either direction of the resort with the nearby parks.Our only negative (and it’s a slight one) was the TV sitting room furniture which we found uncomfortable. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone!

Unit 319 at Sand Cay has the most stunning views from sunrise to sunset. We spent Christmas here and we were able to prepare a gorgeous Christmas meal - prime rib, mashed potatoes, carrots and creme brûlée for dessert. The master bedroom bed was comfy enough for us and I loved the open windows for a lovely breeze. Windows open in the seating area also for a perfect cross breeze this time of year. Televisions in each room are a plus. My husband loved the jigsaw puzzles available. The beach was very quiet so a stroll was very easy. Longboat Key is a brilliant area we have visited often.

With COVID we were unable to stay with family so we lucked out with this perfect beach rental. We were on a workation and the desk was perfect for us to get things done during the day and no issues with the internet. The condo was spotless and cleaning staff even fogs/disinfects to make the stay worry free. Every morning we walked for 90 minutes along the beach which was about 3 minute walk from the condo and every evening we had beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was perfect on the terrace listening to the waves. We were very comfortable and the owner was highly responsive. We arrived after 4pm and the office had a late checkin package. We travel often and this was my favorite stay and we're now looking to purchase. Location was perfect and well situated for Anna Maria Island, Coquina Beach and Bean Point. The first thing you always notice when arriving at Sand Cay is how well kept the property is. Then, after picking up your key from the super friendly and professional office staff, you walk into your unit and, if you have a gulf front unit, are immediately blown away by the view. And then you notice how clean the unit is. In over 10 years of rentals at Sand Cay, I have never once had a housekeeping complaint. The units are well stocked, beautifully decorated, and close to the beach. We have been bringing our kids to Sand CaySince before our youngest was born (9 years!) and they have a blast; everyone is so “kid friendly” and there’s a giant toy box full of beach toys for their enjoyment. Shuffleboard, a giant yard to play kickball, the beautiful pool, sprawling beach, movies to borrow from the office, the tennis court, basketball hoop, and even board games in your unit, the kids are ALWAYS entertained, and by nothing electronic! Thank you, Sand Cay, for Vacation Perfection year after year! You never disappoint!

I have stayed at various condos at Sand Cay Resort. Everyone have always beee clean. The location is great and condos are very spacious. This one in particular was large, clean and very well stocked kitchen. My only complaint were the beds. Not comfortable at all! Other than that, the staff was very helpful and we had a great time!

Private, quiet, clean, and very well-stocked condo with an AMAZING view of the ocean. I especially loved the proximity to the beach and the balcony area to sit and have coffee and watch the dolphins. We liked being on the 3rd floor which enabled a great view. Also, a short drive to great restaurants and shopping. Our new favorite vacation spot.

It has an amazing view of a delightfully secluded beach from either the balcony, the living room, or the kitchen, while still being only a few minutes away from restaurants, groceries and gas, and fairly close to St. Armands circle and downtown Sarasota. Plenty of outdoor and indoor activities are available within the resort and around Longboad Key. The check-in/check-out process was very quick and efficient, and overall Joy and Phil were outstanding hosts in terms of communication, hospitality, and taking care of the little details around the property (like providing board games for rainy days, of which we thankfully had none). We are looking forward to going back soon!”

The location was ideal to get away, Very private beach and pool. Shuffleboard was fun and used the grills. Ideal view from room with sunsets on the beach. Room was spectacular. Everything we needed for a home cooked three course meal and beach gear. Handicap access to the third floor was great for grandparents. Slight issue with drains going very slow. I would go back again and I enjoyed the location close to bridge street and St. Armands circle
