Would definitely stay here again. The elevator and trash were hard to find when coming in late and parking at the back of the lot so be sure to know there is an elevator. We lugged stuff up to third floor to only realize 3rd day there was an elevator. I will book this condo again.

Stayed in this unit for the first time, the view was gorgeous, rooms spacious and kitchen well stocked. Only observation is the kitchen space was not as accommodating. About the pool, this year it was like a sauna.

We enjoyed out stay at Sand Cay and will probably be back. I'm not a fan of carpet at the beach, but otherwise, it was fine. Our daughter was in the unit next to us and they did not have an ice maker. Who doesn't have an ice maker? Especially at the beach!

Stunning views and beautiful, comfortable condo!Felt like a vacation home and Longboat Key is great. Beach is right there and prettier in person. We had a fabulous time! We will definitely book this 3 bed 3 bath unit again.

My husband, kids, and I have been coming to Sand Cay yearly (sometimes more)for over 15 years. The Sand Cay property is beautiful and constantly improving, with small changes being made to strive for continued perfection. Heather and the office staff are friendly, welcoming, personable, and warm, as well as incredibly hard workers. If there is ever an issue within the unit, it is taken care of immediately. Speaking of units, we have stayed in many, and each one has been clean and well-maintained. My ONLY issue is that sometimes the mattresses need an upgrade, but that is so minor compared to the outstanding service, amenities, and beauty of Sand Cay Beach Resort.

Sand Cay is wonderful! The location on the island is perfect. The grounds are beautiful and it seems like the hurricanes didn't even touch the Sand Cay? The staff is awesome.

My family has been coming to this area for Memorial Day for over 45 years.! We have stayed at the Sand Cay in different units several times. We love the Sand Cay and we love this unit.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sand Cay! The staff is personable and exceptional! The minute we pulled into the parking lot we knew that everyone there takes pride in maintaining beautiful, clean and amazing properties and that we had made an excellent choice. We are thankful we get to return next year.

Upon arrival we were stunned at how gorgeous both the condo and the view were. You literally can't get a better view of the ocean than the living room and again in the master bedroom. It's a real treat waking up to seeing the ocean every morning.With that said, here's a list of the pros and cons from our visit:Pros:- Unbeatable views right from the condo- Beach access is as close as you can get- Beach is not crowded and chairs are supplied- Water is amazing temperature-wise at the time we went (June)- Great outdoor cooking area with 3 grills- People seems very friendly and it was nice to talk while grilling- Furnishing in condo are excellent!Cons:- We had a group move in for a few days downstairs with 6 kids and 3 adults. When we asked management to address the noise we were told we would have to deal with it or call the police. For $500+ a night, that needs to be addressed by management.- Pool water was murky and too warm. It was very uncomfortable.- No in-condo washer and dryer. Shared (free) facilities were not well ventilated- One of the bathrooms had a bath that would not properly turn on the shower. Water was not redirected properly when trying to go from bath water flow to shower flow.- Main sliding door to porch/balcony would not lock properly.- The price is a bit on the steep side when considering the cons. But overall, I would stay again.- To get out of the area to shop, you have to travel through some insanely busy areas (Coquina public beach). The area the condo is in isn't busy, but the surrounding areas are EXTREMELY crowded.

Amazing...

Beach was good. Layout of unit was not great. Master had a queen bed. King bed was in guestroom with no en suite bath. Beds were old. Kitchen was well-stocked. Decor was dated.

We love Longboat Key and love Sand Cay Beach Resort! The views from the balcony of Unit 304 are amazing every day and night. The unit is lovely inside too and is steps from the beach. The nearby amenities are outstanding. St. Armand's Circle is a regular destination for us.

We came down for a Wedding next door at the Zota Hotel and it worked out perfectly. Everything at Sand Cay was perfect! The room gorgeous, the property immaculate, beach gorgeous. We had everything we needed and the Staff is courteous and helpful. Cant wait to return.

The unit we stayed in was well kept and the view of the beach was amazing. The property was clean and staff was helpful in providing information and loaning us some beach umbrellas. Everything went smoothly. We will keep this property in mind for future beach vacations.

Very nice condo, lots of room for the whole family, nice views of the beach. Pool was large and clean. Easy access to the beach and convenient to several restaurants in the surrounding area.

We've been coming to Sand Cay for 30+ years- never stayed in 304, but it was an awesome condo. As some of the other reviews state- the only thing I found odd was that there is not a king in the master. With box beds and what not these days, you'd think you get get one up there, but the queen was pretty comfortable. Other thing would be some updated shades/blackout curtains as the lighting around the condos is pretty bright, but it wasn't a deal breaker. We will def. book this condo again- everything else was very updated and had everything we needed.

My family had a lovely stay at this perfect location. Lots of room to spread out a bit. Pros: location, quiet, helpful office staff, comfortable beds, nice pool ,high-end furnishings. Cons: (Not much)- Too much furniture on balcony to navigate, skillet in kitchen too small for family of 6.(though office let us borrow one for a few days), & pricey. Overall ,we enjoyed our stay.

Sand Cay Unit 304 was perfect for our family of 6. Everything was super convenient: only steps from the beach, plenty of chairs on the beach, umbrella from the office, good parking, bicycle racks, trash and recycling nearby, easy check in and check out, and very helpful office folks, especially Heather and Sarah! The Unit has everything we needed, including a large fridge, good cooking supplies, coffee maker, comfortable furniture and beds, and cleaning items (brooms, etc.). We hope to come back!

This was our 2nd time here and we where just as happy both times. Would would recommend this place to anyone who would like to have a nice relaxing time on the beach.

The apartment we stayed is ocean front with a perfect view of the beautiful beach. The unit is well equipped, from the kitchen to the chairs and umbrellas. The facility provides beach beds which is a must to relax at the beach. Sand Cay offers a convenient and expedite checking in and out process, also the office called us to let us know the unit was ready and we could check in earlier, which was very nice. We’ll definitely come back and recommend Sand Cay to family and friends.

Unit was clean, well equipped and had a beautiful view of the Gulf.

My family has been vacationing Over memorial day weekend in the Sarasota area for over 45 years, including now two additional generations! We have found this location to be the best for our family. beautiful beaches, beautiful room! Sunset celebration!!!!

The Sand Cay was perfect for our family and the condo we had was just what we hoped for.

This condo is beautiful and the location is amazing. Steps from the beach, if you choose to leave the balcony! Great area with restaurants and shopping, etc. Well maintained and comfortable furnishings.

Unit 304 was very nice. The view from the balcony was excellent. There were just a few minor issues. The patio door was extremely hard to pull open but rubbing some bar soap on the track helped that problem we did have bug issues but pest control came and sprayed the drains and that helped. The master bathroom was very nice but would have preferred to have to king size bed upstairs in the master bedroom. We enjoyed our stay.

Our family had such an enjoyable stay at Sand Cay recently. This was the 2nd time we’d stayed in this awesome apartment. Spacious, well equipped with breathtaking views...what’s not to like! It was clean upon arrival with a few bits and pieces to get you started. The complex itself is superb and right on the beach. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!
