Unit #302

We always have the best time at Sand Cay - we love Unit 302 for the sunset views! Staff is always welcoming and it is a pleasure to stay here every year!

The condo was lovely, the grounds were beautiful and well kept and staff was very friendly. Only complaint was the amount of cleaning requests upon check out considering the fees we paid.

Sand Cay Condo 302 was our favorite condo yet! We loved everything about the condo, especially the amazing ocean and sunset view. We’ve been coming to Sand Cay as a family for many years. It is always so well maintained and prepared for guests. We can’t wait for our next visit!!

WE HAD A GREAT STAY IN ROOM 302. YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE. ALL THE LOCAL RESTAURANTS WERE GREAT. LAZY LOBSTER WAS OUR FAVORITE. OFFICE STAFF WAS TOO FRIENDLY. HA HA NICE TO WORK WITH PEOPLE WHO CARE. BOOK IT IF YOU WANT A GREAT CONDO.

amazing how quickly the residents of Longboat cleaned up after the hurricanes.

Everything about this place is wonderful. The only exception is there was a prob of the stairway that was not lit at night. Very dangerous.

We had a great week at Sand Cay. The condo was clean, well equipped and had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We loved the view and the easy access to the beach. The grounds were well kept and the office staff were very helpful. This was our third stay at Sand Cay and would stay again!

We'll be back!

We accidently came across Sand Cay Beach Resort when searching for spring break options. We researched the area a little and it seemed like a good fit for our family of 4. Once we arrived, the view from unit 302 was amazing! We could not have been more pleased with the direct view of the gulf and beach area. The beds and bathrooms were good and comfortable. We had enough kitchen supplies to make what we needed to. I would recommend that the dishwasher get updated as we had a few dishes that didn't look to be fully cleaned. The resort as a hole was friendly, welcoming and guests were kind. Very impressive experience here and we'd recommend it to others.

This resort is beautiful!!! Very clean and just perfect.

We stayed for a long weekend in February and had an amazing time. Our condo was well equipped and the space was great for our family. The property is ideal with located on the beach, shuffleboard, pickleball/tennis/basketball, plus the heated pool. We hardly needed to leave besides to get food. We hope to be back next year!!!

The view from this unit is spectacular. things they need to address: more towel bars in the bathrooms. more lamps in general in the living area. fill the holes in the drywall. fix the window in the second bedroom. one of the chairs on the patio is broken. the tv situation in the living area need attention; it appears the box is dysfunctional and the signal spontaneously goes out.

We enjoyed a fine stay at Sand Cay for the full month of October '23. This is our 2nd year at Sand Cay but 12 year coming to Longboat key.Sand Cay is good for us at this time in the fall, not busy and easy to get around.The staff are particularly nice and always helpful. Special shout out for Sara from your "Scottish Family"!

We had the best time in Unit 302 - the weather was perfect and the condo had everything we needed!

Great rental experience! We've booked it for next April already! Only one wish- an umbrella in a separate stand (not in the table) so one could sit out on the balcony in the later afternoon and have some shade.

It was a successful trip. The unit was very nice and though we were around for the cold snap. we still had a marvelous time as usual

Gorgeous view! Great supply of everything you need in the kitchen. Living room couches could be updated. Other than that we thought the place was great. Staff in office were extremely helpful and nice!

I was a little leery when we walked into our condo and the air conditioning was not working, however, the office had a maintenance person out within an hour to fix it that same day, which was a Sunday. Our unit was absolutely amazing and had the most beautiful view of the beach. The unit was updated and the beds were very comfortable. The office staff are amazing! There are washer and dryer facilities on the property that are free to use. The office also has board games and DVDs free of charge to use while there. We will definitely return in the near future��

Sans Cay unit #302 has a view of the sunset over the Gulf that cannot be beaten. The unit is very comfortable next clean. The grounds are well maintained. We cannot recommend sand Cay unit 302 any higher.

This unit has super stylish updated bathrooms, bedrooms, and floors. The sizable living room has comfortable couches and great gulf views! The kitchen is small and could use a little love. Overall we loved this unit and hope to reserve it again!

Wonderful

The view was the absolute best! The corner end patio location made it a bit too windy. I would suggest a few extras= colander, small dish rack, rain umbrella. Beds were extremely comfortable. The website indicated 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom...I would recommend correcting that. No question, we will be back!

Nice older condo. Well appointed kitchen. Upgraded but tiny bathrooms. Great beach and beach views.

The last time we went to Sand Cay was in 2010, so it was good to be back. I know each condo is individually owned, and condo #302 was great for us. The bathrooms were beautifully updated as were the floors, and while the rest of the condo may not have been completely updated, it had everything we needed and it was perfect for our stay! The view was immaculate and we were able to see a beautiful sunset every night. Since the sun sets in the west and the balcony faces to the west, we did have a lot of sun on the patio until the sun went down, but again, that was fine for us.

We had a great vacation at Sand Cay Beach Resort. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The resort was crisp clean and looked as if the exterior of all buildings had been freshly painted. The grounds were lush and well manicured. Beach chairs were plentiful and available complimentary to the resort guests. We stayed in unit 302 with gorgeous views of the beach and sunsets. Reserved parking spot for each unit made parking a breeze. The resort was family friendly and very quiet at night. We will definitely stay again at this resort.

It was the perfect getaway for me and my friends. We will definitely be back! Management/front office were the best!

Overall, Sand Cay was terrific. Initially there was a snafu about double booking in the original unit we had reserved but they were able to move us to another unit which ended up being fine. On site management is knowledgeable, friendly & very helpful. Maintenance is too which was really helpful for some minor things that came up. They clearly take good care of the property overall. There's instant access to a nice beach. If our specific unit had been more updated (some others are), we'd give this 5's across the boards but it was very clean & functional so it worked well for us. This is definitely a nice & comfy place to vacation.

This was our 5th stay at Sand Cay. We keep coming back because the staff is beyond friendly, the grounds super clean, it’s quiet and the beach is perfect and never too crowded. It’s fun to stay in different units and each is unique and they vary slightly in size.

Great view from the room. Everything you need included, chairs, umbrellas, even sand toys for the beach. The room was clean and spacious for four guests. Will return again.

Excellent, clean unit, beautiful beach

We highly recommend Room 302 Sand Cay if you are looking for a beautiful panoramic view of the Gulf. It has recent updates in both bathrooms (beautifully done) and flooring in the main living/ dining area. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook our meals. The grounds at Sand Cay are gorgeous and well maintained. The staff was friendly, however we didn't need anything from them except to check in and check out. We hated to leave!
