We had a great time. Sand Cay is one of the nicest spots on LBK. Beach was beautiful and condo was lovely.

I think the owners should be better being aware of problems. The beds seem to always be very uncomfortable And no bed should need a ladder to help get in And the bathroom had a sewer order

Lovely condo with so many nice features. The view is incredible from your personal, large patio with seating for six. Pros: -Bed setup for 5 to sleep in bedrooms (great for families with 3 kids)-2 full bathrooms -Plenty of kitchen, dining and living space with seating for everyone-Nicely stocked kitchen-Location is minutes from groceries, restaurants, Anna Maria Island, Lido Key, and more. -Beach umbrellas and a handful of beach toys (more usually available near the beach entrance)-Pool was nice, with a few shady spots to sit and plenty of toys and floats-Beach was beautiful and clean (you do need to drag your own chairs and set your own umbrellas)Cons (minor):-Pans could use an update, the non-stick surface is scratched and worn-Primary bedroom mattress is hard and squeaks and squawks just to get into and out of bed

This condo has a great view. It was very clean and well stocked.The whole complex was immaculate.

Once again a great vacation at SandCay Apartment was very dark and could do with updating ,furniture and sofa very worn

Great corner unit at a nice beach front property. Central location makes it easy to get to and from local businesses. Very clean unit and friendly staff at Sand Cay Resort. Beach was nice and not crowded. Resort provides plenty of beach chairs for all. Would definitely return.

Unit 219 has one of the best panoramic views of the gulf from the balcony. Even when the outside temperature is not suitable or too windy for the beach, you are sheltered from north wind. Umbrella base on the balcony is wobbly and you have to keep an eye on it when extended and windy. That said, the unit is not perfect but certainly pleasant enough. Many units at sand cay have a lot of beach accessories in the utility room but this one had only an old umbrella with no sand screw base. Luckily the office had a base that fit the umbrella so we could use. Appliances in kitchen are great. Skillets for breakfast are old and no longer non stick. Bedrooms are odd setup. Main has large queen but sits far off the floor. 2nd BR has a full and single but mattresses seem old and soft. Master bath is small and shower pretty narrow. Internet was good. TV took some work since coffee table had four remotes and batteries were dead on main remote. Staff was terrific. Location on LBK is ideal. We have stayed at SC for many years at various units and if they would improve bedroom setup this one might be a favorite.

Our condo unit #219 was so clean,beautiful,immaculate and decorated so eloquently! The condo had such a relaxing atmosphere with spectacular views overlooking the water, with all the comforts of home! It was the perfect condo to rent especially right on the beach! Loved this beautifully furnished condo! We would most definitely come back again and recommend this condo to our family and friends!

We loved the location and the cleanliness of the grounds. Would love to come back up in the near future.

Rental experiece was good overall, Had an issue with shower door shattering and the emergency number I call did not respond to me. Everyone did a great job of cleaning it up the next day and it was well taken care of. Just really glad we had 2 bathrooms.

We had a great stay at 219! The rental was perfect for our family of four and the proximity to the beach / view was great. The home definitely would have warranted 5 stars except for 2 issues that should be resolved for the next guest. When we arrived, two sets of blinds were broken in the living room and couldn’t be pulled up, resulting in a dark living room / no view. Unfortunately they could not be fixed in a timely manner as the 3rd party service provider wasn’t available. So after a day, we ended up just removing them down ourselves. I would note, we also saw a few cockroaches inside unit (common in FL so not a huge surprise) so would encourage the staff to give the property an extra spray

The Sand Cay was a great place to spend our vacation. The staff was amazing, helpful, friendly and had great recommendations for things to do. We loved watching the ocean every morning with breakfast.

We have been staying at Sand Cay Beach Resort every year for Memorial weekend for the past 19 years! That is how much we love this place. We are planning for a 20 year anniversary stay in 2024!

We have stayed at Sand Cay 4 previous years in June. Rm 319, 218, 217 and this year 219. Rm 219 was prefect. My wife and grandchildren loved the location and view. We will be coming back again next year I’m sure. Only negative I have is the price is going to high per night and it looks like most unit are going to 7 day minimum stay. There should be a price break for 7 day nightly rates. To the staff, keep up the great work maintaining the property.

We had a wonderful time. Our unit was beautiful. It was exactly as advertised. The whole resort was well run with wonderful staff. They maintained the resort to a very high standard.

Enjoyed stay at Sand Cay very much. It was quiet, and peaceful. The grounds are kept up well. Staff is very helpful. Welcome packet well organized and informative. Best ever.

Sand Cay Resort was the PERFECT PLACE for a beach vacation. Great location on the island, clean resort and amenities, FREE PARKING, LAUNDRY FACILITIES, HEATED POOL, RIGHT ON THE BEACH, and FRIENDLY PROFESSIOAL STAFF!! You could not ask for a better place! Also, their prices are very competitive.

Clean accommodations. Very friendly management staff. Everything we needed for a nice beach vacation with our 3 small children. All the right amenities

Our 1st time at Sand Cay, use to rent for the past 12 years as Casa del Mar (along the beach) but Sand cay was much better with all the same facilities but much nicer staff. Just 1 point, with no Netflex or Amazon available, the TV options (using a 20 year old DvD and watching 20+ year old movies (again) must be considered for the future, this will only become a bigger issue.

We had a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed the view, Unit 219 accommodations, and the property's amenities. The hotel (Zota) next door was convenient for a breakfast, lunch, dinner or an evening cocktail.

We have stayed at Sand Cay many times over the last almost 40 years. I think that speaks for itself. We love the location in the middle of beautiful LBK. Steps to beautiful beach with provided young chairs. Management is friendly and accommodating. Units are nice and well appointed. Beautiful supermarket 5 minutes away.

My family and I have been coming to this resort for many years. The staff is very helpful and the resort clean. I stayed at this unit many times and always have a great time. I recommend it to anyone who loves to relax and enjoy the beach.

We loved our stay at Sand Cay. The condo was very clean and just as described. The pool was great and just the right temperature. The beach was perfect and we always found some chairs available. We will definitely be back.

We had a great family vacation! Our unit was prefect. Great view of the beach and perfect for watching sunsets. We are big coolers and the kitchen had everything we could ever want! We have rented other units and this was one of our favorite units!

Sand Cay "took us in" when our vaca house fell thru (with another company the day we arrived)! They were worked very hard to be sure the remainder of our week was great! THANK YOU Heather and Melissa! Loved that the beach chairs and umbrellas were available AND in great condition. Grocery and restaurants close by-- LOVE Dry Dock Restaurant!! We love Longboat Key and will be back!
