Great facility and super staff. always updating and making improvements.

My family of 4 had a great vacation at Sand Cay Beach Resort. The accommodations met our needs and the views were amazing. We also really enjoyed the views of all the beautiful landscaping.

It was lovely. This is the second time staying in unit 218 and my 6th or 7th at Sand Cay.

Nice condo steps from the beach. What more can you ask for?

We have come to Sand Cay for 6 years and have booked 2026. This is a great faculity that totally matches our needs. Great staff.

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Sand Cay unit 218. The views were spectacular and the best part of the experience. The balcony faced the water where we enjoyed coffee at dawn, sunsets, and star gazing. Dolphin spotting and sea bird watching were highlights. The unit was clean and sufficient. Loved the pool and the beach. We’ll be back.

This place was perfect. We'll maintained, clean and a perfect location. It never got too crowded and we were able to enjoy all the amenities. We will be back.

My family has been staying at Sand Cay for over 13 years. Always have a great time. Melissa and Justin and all the team take wonderful care of us. My wife is disabled and we found out upon arrival earlier this month, the elevator was out of service. I called Justin for help. Justin was able to get us to another unit within 15 minutes of talking with him. The next day, Melissa called me and worked something out for the remainder of our trip. We are already planning our next trip to Sand Cay 🙂

Unit 218 was fabulous!!!

We choose to stay at Sand Cay each year for its amenities, quiet location, great units and very friendly staff.

Great View! Access to beach was very convenient and private beach area was great. Pool area was very nice. Staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. Location in the middle of Longboat Key meant we had a 10-15 minute drive to grocery stores and restaurants - only downside.

Fabulous stay at Sand Cay! Really nice resort with super friendly staff. The grounds are kept really nice and the beach is Amazing. This is a real gem and was a perfect week stay for us at the last minute. Could not of asked for more in Long Boat Key!

Thoroughly enjoyed out stay in unit 218 at Sand Cay Resort. Gulf Front setting is fantastic. Unit is well equipped and clean. Office was very pleasant to work with.

2023 makes 4 years here for us and we have booked 2024. Sand Cay has everything we need in a winter getaway. We stay for January and February and love itThe facility is in a great location and the staff is the Gold Standard in customer service.

We had a wonderful stay in Unit 218. Fantastic views, clean, comfortable, well maintained and well stocked condo. We've stayed at many beach front condos over the years on Longboat and this unit is definitely at the top of the list.

The condo was as pictured. Beautiful and spacious. The beach view was spectacular and the grounds were well kept. The pool area was very nice as well. Best beach and condo by far.

The condo met all our needs, especially the fantastic view from the balcony. Very clean and staff friendly and cordial.

We stayed the week after Labor Day weekend and it was totally blissful! Our rental unit was #218 and we loved it. My whole family enjoyed this unit and our million dollar view. My only suggestion is for the owners to provide a little better vacuum cleaner for picking up sand off the floor. The vacuum we had was similar to a small hand vacuum. Otherwise, everything was just as stated on the listing. Cannot wait to book again. If you have any doubts...DON’T worry just book and enjoy. You will not regret it.

My daughter, 5 year old granddaughter and I spent 5 relaxing days on LB Key. Not our first trip to the area, but our first stay at this condo. Not always knowing if we booked a winner or not until we arrive, we were more than happy with our condo. Comfortable, clean, great balcony and views. We will definitely rent here again!

This was our second stay at Sand Cay Resort on Longboat Key. We rented #217 and #218 which are located as close to the beach and gulf as possible. So many outstanding features including:* Great location on Longboat Key close to Publix and St. Armands Circle* Many outstanding restaurants nearby* Large heated swimming pool* Condos are modern, clean, comfortable with a large number of amenities* Both staff and other guests are so friendly and helpful * I’ve checked other locations on Longboat Key and nothing else comes closeWe can’t wait to return!

Everything about Sand Cay was perfect! Location, condo, beach access, friendly and attentive staff, well maintained grounds, etc. We loved it so much we already booked for next year!

We came back for a second visit (we stayed last September) and we enjoyed it just as much, if not more. The staff is fantastic (one of the ladies took my coffee beans home to grind for me since we forgot our grinder). They went above and beyond for both stays. We rented the same ocean front unit and absolutely love it. We will hopefully be back again this fall. Thank you Sand Cay for making our family vacations perfect !

The property was well maintained. The beach area has adequate lounge chairs for the guests and is not crowded. Our unit was nicely decorated and very comfortable.

We had an amazing time on our second trip to Sand Cay. It started with an always friendly staff (every person we talked to was super friendly and helpful). The resort was as clean and family friendly as we remembered. We are already planning our 3rd trip!

The location of the property couldn't be better. We watched dolphins every morning from the balcony and the beach. The condo was very clean, and had everything we needed and more. The bathrooms were small but had lots of storage and towel racks. The furniture was very nice and comfortable. There was not a lot of overhead lighting but the bathrooms were well lit and the condo was not dark due to the windows facing the beautiful gulf. Also loved the vinyl wood look flooring, so comfortable to walk on and clean! Wouldn't hesitate to book this condo again!

Loved our unit and the entire property!

We were referred by a family member and came down after "tourist season". It did not disappoint. The strict no pet policy was something we looked at, because we have an autistic child who cannot do animals. Our unit had the best view and was perfect, clean, and welcoming. Staff was amazing. We will be coming back very soon. The location was great.

My family and I have stayed at Sand Cay MULTIPLE times and we absolutely love it! Accommodations are always top notch and friendly.

It was perfect! The condo itself was beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the view was AMAZING. The entire place was well kept and staff was very friendly. This was our first visit and will not be our last.

We stayed in unit 218 for four nights with my family. Sand Cay is a property built in the 1970’s. It is well maintained and attractive. It sits on a nice part of Longboat Key Beach. There are plenty of beach chairs. The heated pool is very nice. We also used the tennis court and shuffleboard court. Our unit was spacious and clean with a great oceanview balcony. I liked the artwork and furniture. The floors are newer and add a beachy vibe. The bathrooms and kitchen are outdated but are clean and function well. The only real negative was the smell of the water when taking a shower. Perhaps Sand Cay needs a better water treatment system. The office was extremely friendly and overall we had a wonderful time!

Sand Cay was a very nice get away. The condo we in great shape and we were less than 200 steps from the beach. Beautiful view's and the best part was the beach was not crowded at all. Will be back!

Our June 2019 trip makes the third one in 5 years to Sand Cay. This time was unit 218. Everything was fantastic. AC was cold, fridge and micro worked fine. Master bed slept great. No complaints from the girls about their room or beds. The view was straight out on the Gulf for great days and sunsets that were out of a movie. Onsite laundry if needed and staff available if you need them. Spent maybe 15 minutes in the pool. Very nice, just wasn't needed as the Gulf is 100 steps away. Really liked the started soaps and shampoo. The landscaping/grounds around Sand Cay are just as picturesque as anything you would find in a magazine. Ten minutes from St Armand's Circle. Restaurants and shopping are great down there. Tyler's Ice Cream is a 10 minute walk, it's a MUST. If you go, PLEASE don't tell anyone about it. It may start to get crowded.

We loved the staff, place, location. It was great. Highly recommend.
