Unit #216

Beautiful condo with lovely views. There is nothing you need when you arrive. We do need to see a beach tent or cabana. Some people love to be on the beach with their family but do t want to be scorched by the sun all day. The umbrellas didn’t cut it. Also knew a decent beverage cooler , not a styrofoam box without a lid.

We have been coming to Sand Cay Beach Resort every year for the last 6 years, and it never disappoints. Our overall stay is always outstanding, and it has become a place our family looks forward to visiting year after year. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach while still being close to great restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. The condo is consistently spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The property management staff is always friendly, professional, and responsive, making the entire experience seamless from booking through checkout. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service are just a few of the reasons we continue to return. We highly recommend Sand Cay Beach Resort to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and hassle-free beach vacation.

We enjoyed it all! This was the relaxing and beautiful vacation we needed. Everyone was friendly, the staff was helpful and always with a smile. Our condo was lovely with a beautiful view and well equipped. The beach and grounds were well kept! Perfect weather. LBK is our favorite spot. We loved it! And will return!

We were in #216. The kitchen was ideally equipped with everything we wanted to make a couple of nice dinners. Melissa, from the office staff, was very helpful. A wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The place is clean, comfortable, and just steps from the beach. It had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

We loved our stay at Sand Cay and will definitely come back. Our condo was beautiful and equipped with all the beach gear we needed. The area was clean and family friendly. The beach was beautiful and the property managers were welcoming and so friendly!

This unit was comfortable and attractive. It was clean and had all the necessary accessories. The only thing we didn’t like was that the umbrella on the balcony was broken so it wasn’t comfortable sitting there in the sun. The unit looks right into other units, so we didn’t like that but there were shades that could be pulled down. Overall this is a good place to stay except there aren’t washers and dryers in the unit, which after all these price increases should be included by now.

We recently rented two beautiful condos for our large group. This unit had the most gorgeous view of the gulf and spacious feeling layout. Our group ended up hanging out together here most of the time, eating dinner together or doing a puzzle or watching TV. The furniture on the patio has been upgraded to a high top with 6 chairs total, including two that can be used with the small high top table facing the gulf for or an intimate breakfast for two or drinks in the evening. The living room furniture has been upgraded to a very comfortable sectional sofa with two leather, swivel chairs by the large window that can swivel to turn out and look at the gulf. The high top table inside has been removed making more seating room for your party. Finally, the beds have been upgraded as well and are very comfortable. The kitchen is open with large areas for prepping food on all the countertops.

I stayed at the resort with 4 other friends. We had 2 units during our stay. My friends and I go somewhere every year. We will definitely be back to Sand Cay. The accommodations were clean and very nice. We loved meeting Sarah, who is on the videos she's posted on FB. She made it look so great and it was. Sarah was very nice just as she seems on her videos! She is a gem! We liked that the resturants were local you do have to drive into Bradenton to get to the commercialized businesses sick as Walmart but it wasn't that far at all. We liked that we could walk our doors and walk onto the beach. It was so close. We loved that. I would highly recommend Sand Cay!

I love coming to Sand Cay with family. My room had been renovated and was beautiful, comfortable and well stocked with kitchen equipment. We love grilling and catching the amazing sunsets. My niece and nephew grew up coming here for vacations and this year we celebrated my nephew’s engagement! That’s many wonderful times at Long Boat Key and Sand Cay.

So far the best unit we have stayed in during the course of 20 years plus. Congratulations!

Everything about staying at Sand Cay is easy.

Our unit was clean and grounds were well kept. We enjoyed ourselves. The time to repair the tub hot water issue took too long.

Overall good.Guest beds could be updated. Squeaky springs. And hard beds.

This was the best rental experience we've had in many, many years! We've been getting together annually for over 25 yrs, and have stayed in a lot of condos or hotels and we rate this one with one of the absolute best! Wonderful people in the office (Sara ROCKS), clean and comfortable property both inside and out. The beach and water in this area is amazing!

The condo at Sand Cay was very nice, spacious, well-furnished and very comfortable. Kitchen was well-equipped. Perfect view for watching the sun set from the balcony. Would highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our too few days at Sand Cay...but we will definitely return! LBK is quiet, peaceful paradise, and Sand Cay was the perfect spot to enjoy it. Easy access to the beach, and close to EVERYTHING!

Longboat Key is a very quiet and low key. If your looking to relax and spend quiet time at the beach, then longboat is the answer. Rental was very clean and well stocked. Loved that there were two full size beds in the second bedroom. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Two things I would upgrade.. add a love seat, not enough room for a family if they want to watch a movie or just hangout. Second even though the resort provides lounge chairs, it would have been nice to have some chairs to sit by/in the ocean. No deal breaker for me will stay again. View is amazing.

Girl's weekend. Condo was very clean, nicely appointed. The two side chairs in living room are ok for short periods. Beds comfortable. Air flow into master bedroom seemed to suit down during middle of night making room stuffy. The AC cooling was fine thru rest of condo. Sarah in office was friendly and welcoming.

Unit 216 was very clean & looked like it had new furniture which was very comfortable. Even the kitchen had wonderful utensils etc. We did have to go to the front desk & ask for a coffee maker. The unit had a small Kerig which we didn’t care for but the office was so accommodating & had an extra coffee maker for us. 216 is the best unit we’ve ever had & we’ve gone to Sand Cay several years. Loved it.

This condo was perfect for our needs. It's location to the beach made everything so easy. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The ability to make most of our meals in the condo helped us stay in our budget. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again!

We stayed in unit 216 with a beautiful view if the ocean and sunset. Everything was perfect. The condo front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Wold come back again.

We had a great week with beautiful weather. Unit 216 met all our expectations with great views of the Gulf. Will definitely return to this unit.

Fun sweet property. Easy access to the beach and great grills for Barbeque.We had a fantastic stay.

We really enjoyed staying in this unit. The kitchen is large and has plenty of dishes. The queen beds in the 2nd bedroom were a bonus for my teenage boys! The view, oh the view, nothing better than coffee in the morning and gazing at the ocean. Also watching the sunset in the evening with a coctail.

We had a great time at Sand Cay and Unit 216 was fantastic. It was very clean and comfortable when we arrived and the view was great. The kitchen had all the utensils and cookware necessary to prepare meals. There was never a moment where we said we need something when preparing our meals. If I had one negative thing to say its that the bed in the master had a terrible squeak with even the slightest movement. Other than that, it was great and we would definitely reserve 216 again if we were to return.

We enjoyed our stay at Sand Cay Beach Resort. Melissa in the office was amazing and professional. The first unit we were in did not meet our expectations, but she was more than gracious about moving us to a different unit (216). It was a pleasant unit with great views and easy access to the beach. The resort maintains its property very well, from the pool, landscaping and structure. It is conveniently located on the island - close to restaurants, paths, etc. We enjoyed going to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, and the Mote Aquarium on LBK. Next visit we'll go to the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. This time we truly enjoyed walking the beaches, relaxing and eating on the patio, watching the sunsets.

Overall, our stay was very nice. The condo was clean but a bit dated and dark. They need to have smart phone charging stations around the condo. I had to pull the king size bed away from the wall every night to charge my electronics and the same in the Living Room pulling out the couch...not world problems, but would be nice and its an easy fix.

This location is perfect for a family get-away. Close to shopping, restaurants and right on the beach. The office gave us another rental (better location) when our first one had some painting scheduled. We enjoyed it for a family vacation. Each unit is owned by different people, so each one is decorated differently. This kitchen had been updated for a optimal usage.

216 Needs a bigger/better tv in main room and like the year before one of the drawers in the fridge is partially broken and difficult to use. Otherwise, great stay as always!
