Unit #212

This was our first time at Sand Cay. Our unit was very clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well-stocked. There were beach towels and umbrellas in the unit, and nice beach chairs were provided on the beach. The staff, from the office to housekeeping to maintenance, were all very friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and very well-maintained. The resort is a short drive from St. Armands Circle for restaurants and shopping. We ate at The Columbia Restaurant and Cha-Cha Coconuts in St. Armands and Dry Dock Waterfront Grill and Harry's Deli on Longboat Key and recommend them all. We had a great vacation and would definitely book this unit again.

The unit is clean and very convenient to stairs, the elevator and the assigned parking spot. The kitchen has everything you could need for food preparation. It has been an exceptionally cold winter and the heating system worked well. Being on the second floor offers more privacy than ground floor. Suggest a new mattress set in the master bedroom. It needs a new one. Otherwise enjoyed our stay and would stay again with a new mattress. The property was laying new brick at shuffleboard and the noise and dust was quite disruptive for several days.

Sand Cay never disappoints.The terrific management team continues to keep everything in tip top shape. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the team is available to professionally and pleasantly deal with any issue..although there are relatively few. The beach is well stocked with comfortable chairs, and the pool area is clean and inviting. Our unit was lovely..third time in this unit..and well cleaned and stocked. Wonderful stay.

We had a lovey week. Everything was as expected. Having lounge chairs available on the beach was a huge plus for us. Location was great.

Another terrific stay at Sand Cay. The condo itself is lovely, well appointed and immaculate upon arrival. The dedicated parking spot adds to the convenience. The property continues to be beautifully maintained, with flowers and lawns trimmed weekly. A real highlight is the on property management. If there are any issues, they cheerfully and professionally take care of them immediately. It's been a delight to deal with them. We will be back!

Overall a very good experience. The only issue with this unit was the hot water heater thermostat was set quite low; showers were actually too cool even with the shower tap set to the maximum hot setting.

This was a delightful experience from beginning to end. The overall property is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The office staff are warm and personable and ready to be of assistance if needed. The condo we rented was lovely and tastefully decorated. It was well equipped with all the necessary kitchen equipment and then some. Thanks for a great vacation.

Beautiful resort! Very clean!

We were here for the third time and it was wonderful as we remembered it. The appartment is super for a family of 4. The evenings on the balcony close the pool eating breakfast and dinner, playing cards with the kids and having a glass of wine were unbeatable.

We were extremely happy with all aspects of this resort and hope to return in the near future.

This was a nice family time in an amazing beach location. Access to the beach was awesome. Everything was clean. Nice place to spend some time at the beach.

Wonderful experience. Staff was polite and provided an excellent service. The property was clean and well equipped. All you need to bring is your luggage. The beach is beautiful with clear water and white sand, only a few steps from the resort.

We had a great time at Sand Cay #212 with our family - first time taking our kids to the beach! Unit was clean and everything that was promised to be provided was available. We would highly recommend and would stay here again!

We had a great stay. Check-in was easy. There are designated parking spots. The unit was great. Nice and clean. Comfy sofas. The beach wasn't overcrowded. Water was beautiful. A quick drive to everything you need. The only thing I would suggest is better pillows for the beds. We will definitely be back.

Sand Cay is a wonderful place to stay. It feels like a home away from home. The pool was nice and clean, and the ocean was only steps away. The location is ideal, close to Sarasota and the shops and restaurants of Armands Key. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time. The property is well maintained and super clean. We had everything that we needed for a family of 4 and my parents. The pool was super clean! The beach was amazing! Looking forward to come back!

This was our second stay in Unit 212 and everything was fine except for one thing - last year we had twin beds in 2nd bedroom, this year it was a bunk bed (full on bottom/twin on top). For us this was a surprise and not conducive to our ages of 74 and 60. We did manage to survive and still had a great time. The only other thing that should be taken care of is the patio screen door which is very hard to close. All in all as usual Sand Cay is an exceptional property and we have already booked for 2022. The short walk to the beach, pool, laundry room and being close to Sarasota, Bradenton and Anna Maria Island is very convenient.

Very quiet and beautiful private beach. Everything you need for your stay is provided both inside the condo and out. Will come back and refer others.

My 2 cousins and I rented this condo for our annual trip to Sarasota. The condo was very nicely furnished and decorated and we felt very comfortable there. Beach towels and chairs were available for us and it was just a short walk to the beach. The weather was glorious and it was one of our best vacations. We will be definitely be back.

My second time there. The setting and grounds are as beautiful as ever. The staff was helpful. My rental was clean and well-equipped. My only complaint is it would be nice if better pillows were provided in the small bedroom with twin beds.

We enjoyed a fantastic week at Sand Cay. Powdery beaches, and a relaxing atmosphere made for a perfect vacation. The condo owners, Mr. and Mrs. Allendorff, had a beautifully appointed unit, and were gracious hosts all the way from Germany. The Office Staff were friendly and very responsive. We would recommend Sand Cay to anybody wanting a quiet and relaxing trip. Several attractions are a short drive away. The property felt very safe and secure.
