Unit #211

We've been to Longboat Key several times and have stayed at Sand Cay each time. This is a pretty nice unit that has been updated.

Stayed in the unit with a total of six people. Having 2 queen beds is great. The unit is well maintained and look forward to staying again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at the Sand Cay condo with our two adult sons. The place was well maintained and comfortable. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and good amenities. The only drawback was the layout of the kitchen area which was cut up and small whereas another family member stayed at another condo on the same floor that had an open layout that felt more spacious and comfortable.

We had a wonderful time during our family vacation. Our unit 211 was absolutely perfect. Well stocked and felt like home! The property was great. We took advantage of the grills and were able to prepare dinner multiple times. We loved being on the beach! Definitely will be back!

Very happy every time I stay here... This is my 6th stay.. Love the simplicity of the property that you still get an old style key when you check in:) The ladies in the office and easy to get a hold of via email or phone.. Love the closeness to the beach we will be back

Sand Cay is exactly what we needed. Totally recommend this property. Longboat and the adjacent islands have good dining options and the Mote Aquarium is a must see. Very family friendly overall. My only concern, and it's a slight one, is that the mattresses were too soft for us. Other than that the location, people, in fact everything, was terrific.

My daughter and two teenage granddaughters really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was nice to have chairs, umbrellas and beach towels available that we did it have to pack our own. I’d definitely stay again!

Our vacation and Sandcay was so relaxing and fun -full of time at the white sandy beach and turquoise waters at perfect temperature. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Awesome! It always is at Sand Cay

We were there for a wedding at Zota Resort - next door. These condos were FAR more comfortable than Zota which is more of a hotel atmosphere with lots of beach rules.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sand Cay. I’d say the best thing about this resort is how well they provide for your needs. I’ve never stayed in any rental that had better provisions. It’s really hard to think through all the little things you will need and without exception when we needed something it was already there....dish soap, kitchen towels, a wine cork, trash bags, plastic cutlery, shower gel...that’s just the things we needed and forgot to bring along. The room was very clean and the beach provisions were great also. There were even some toys for my grandkids to play with in the closet.

My family and I felt at home while staying at Sand Cay Beach resort. The condo was clean. The staff were very nice and friendly. It took us less then a minute to check in. The condo was very cozy and welcoming. I love the private beach access. The condo had beach towels, umbrellas, life vest, beach toys for the kids and more. This was one less thing I had to bring on the trip. I will certainly stay at this resort again.

This place we have come for year. And for us covers all the amenities that we want. Best is the staff

Property was great. Heather at office was GREAT, super accommodating. We experienced a door lock that was nearly inoperable and had to be repaired during our stay, 3 remotes that had no batteries in them, construction in unit under us that started each morning and was loud and unexpected, our water was shut off during making lunch without notice. When I asked the office about it, I was told "sorry" We had to make other lunch plans. Sofa in media room extremely uncomfortable, several slats of vertical blinds missing in living room. Positives - unit was quiet (when construction stopped), nice stroll to the beach. Nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas available. Bed in Master extremely comfortable.

We stayed in #211, it was very nice and roomy.We were right beside the pool and (free) laundromat. The only negative I have is I wish they gave us at least 3 days of wash cloths for bathing/showering.We will definitely come back if we vacation at Longboat Key again, we loved the whole area.

The Sand Cay is the best!! We had a beautiful Vacation here. The property aid so clean and the staff is wonderful and very accommodating. We will be back for sure. The unit was perfect!!!

Friendly and helpful staff, clean unit with nice furnishing and lots of amenities, easy walk to the beach, really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The condo was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The resort is perfectly located and offers wonderful amenities - beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. We would definitely vacation here again.

The rental was much better than I expected. Clean, Lots of room, tastefully decorated for a beach rental, The office staff were welcoming and quickly too care of any issues like a broken coffee market, replacing light bulbs, etcI have already made a reservation for next year in the same unit.

Great place to relax and spend time with family.

Beautiful updated rental space with plenty of space for the whole family to spread out but have lots of quality time together. The gardens are beautiful and feel like a tropical escape and the pool is surprisingly large. Can't beat the location to the beach and our unit came fully stocked with lots of beach toys. It was exactly what our family needed to relax and unwind.

We really enjoyed our time together celebrating my mom’s 86th birthday, the management were very helpful and polite. We would definitely choose Sand Cay

Excellent experience, except maybe i5 needs to cut some tree branches so the parked cars are not full of leaves and small tree branches.

This condo and resort was very clean, friendly, safe, and relaxing. The beach was also very nicely clean and plenty of chairs. We love to walk up and down the beach went when on for a long distance. We did wish a more restaurants were closer to walk to, but he neighborhood was very quiet. Sarah and Mellissa were very helpful and great to work with in the office. Great place!!

We spent a month on Long Boat Key, but were just not quite ready to go home. We needed a place for 4 days, and Sand Cay was the perfect place to go. Our unit had been recently remodeled and was very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Both the pool and the beach were an easy few steps from our unit. We would stay here again in a minute.

Stayed here the week after Christmas and loved it! This unit was perfect for our family of four. The unit is a very nice size and the bedrooms were spacious. My college-age daughters shared the bedroom that had 2 queen beds and they had plenty of room. All the units in the Sand Cay complex are steps away from the beach. Our unit overlooked the pool which was very convenient and it was also close to the laundry facilities. The unit is tastefully decorated and just all around a nice unit to rent. We would definitely return to this unit.

LongBoat Key was and always will paradise, but staying at Sand Cay only makes it better!

It was wonderful. Will stay again. The rental was very very clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The air cooled nicely and the bathrooms appeared to be recently updated. Dining furniture was a little dated but who cares - we weren't there for the furniture. Loved the outside patio - relaxing. Beach gorgeous and a few steps away - Chairs provided on beach- huge bonus. Loved the smaller complex - no big crowd even during the 4th. Again can't wait - WILL STAY AGAIN!

We had a great family vacation at Sand Cay. The beach was easily accessible and not crowded. We enjoyed swimming in the pool when our beach time was over. The facilities were clean and staff friendly. We enjoyed the use of the BBQ grill by the beach for a cook out. We would definitely come to Sand Cay again.
