Unit #208

We had a lovely experience. The staff very professional, friendly, kind, and so welcoming. Best place, this is our 5th year. Sara is such a ray of sunshine. She will go out of her way to make sure everything is perfect for all your needs. I don’t know how she keeps up, guests are constantly coming in with their needs or problems. Sara is so sweet and easy to talk to and makes you feel like a fast friend from day one. Rooms were clean, grounds beautiful. Pool and beach amazing. Be back in November.

The family had a great time. It did rain a lot but can't dew much about that.

The rental experience was phenomenal. It had every detail you could think of to help ease cooking at the home, sleeping comfortably and close to the beach. Only issue was that there was a large amount of ghost ants all over the kitchen. We are local and know the ants, but it was excessive to where even with no food out they would swarm. Hopefully that can be remedied because otherwise the stay was wonderful.

We had an amazing stay with our family (2 adults and 3 young children). Nothing better than walking distance to the beach. The unit was so pleasant and homelike. No complaints at all. Our unit overlooked the pool and side view of the ocean. We sat outside on the patio eating dinner and enjoying the sunsets. Definitely would come again.

Love Longboat Key! Convenient to Anna Maria Island, St. Armand’s and Sarasota. Our condo had a nice gulf view, nice stay, condo could use new faucets, and living room furniture but loved unit and Sandcay!

GREAT Vacation Stay

All was great despite the inclement weather, the condo had all the needed amenities from board games to spices for cooking plus a nice view yes we will be staying there again..

We all had a WONDERFUL time! Everything was great!

The property, location and staff are exceptional, your staff are very helpful, pleasant and obliging. Our unit 208 needs an upgrade, the carpets are very dirty and also in need of saucepans, only one very large and one very small were there. The floors were sticky. The bed could do with a mattress pad as all the ridges on the mattress could be felt.

Condo was clean and nice. Looking forward to Memorial Day 2025 in your unit!

The perfect place to stay!!! If you are looking for the perfect getaway this is it!! Unit was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. A few steps away from the most beautiful beach. private parking spot, the best restaurants, it's your home away from home. Will definitely be booking this trip again!!!

Overall a good experience! You can’t beat the location of Sand Cay. The biggest negative was the cleanliness of our unit. The floors were absolutely filthy and my child’s feet were black within minutes of being there. We all had to keep our shoes on the entire time. I don’t expect them to be perfect, but compared to other units I’ve stayed in previously, this one could use some work.

We had a great time at Sand Cay Resort during our recent stay in August/September of 2022. We stayed at unit #208 which provided beautiful garden/pool view along with glimpse of the gulf from the balcony. We are a family of four and the unit accommodated our family with room to spare. Apartment was very roomy and clean and provided us with every amenity needed when not on the beach, at the pool or sharing a great meal at one of very many restaurants in the area. Beds were clean and comfortable (kids loved the bunk bed setup), kitchen was well equipped, there is full on cable/TV for when it rains and Wi-Fi allowed kids to connect their gadgets and let parents do their thing. The unit we stayed in truly exceeded our expectations. The private white-sand beach of the gulf with plenty of room to spare was absolutely great – no need to bump elbows with crowds. We loved the pool and kids stayed into the night swimming and playing shuffle board. Without reservations, we can highly recommend Unit #208 at The Sand Cay Resort which we had pleasure of staying in. We will most certainly return to explore the area and some of the nicest beaches in the US. Thanks for having us!

A wonderful stay with our family, this is the second year, we book 11 condos, 30 of us. Your office staff are great, and your facility very family.oriented, we look forward to many more happy years. We will be returning every year at this time.

We stay here each year and have been in a few different condos. First off, we always have a great time and we love the condo, beach and Longboat Key. Out of the condos we’ve stayed in over the years at Sand Cay, this one was our least favorite though. Needs updating and we have a major issue arise when it rained one night. Still, we enjoy our stays and the staff are great.

we love sand cay and have ben staying here for many years.we have stayed in several of the condos, they are all unique in their own way. alll are very comfortable.

The balcony to this unit has a view of the pool and also a part of the beach. The property is on the beach so it was an easy walk from the unit down to the beach or to the pool. This is such a relaxing, easy vacation. We are sure we will be back again.

Would highly recommend sand cay. Beautiful beach, good accommodations as stated in description. Only recommended upgrade is a new mattress in the master as others have suggested. Nice space, and worked for our family of five.

We stayed in Unit #208. The unit was very clean and the furniture and beds were comfortable. The office staff were very nice and helpful. Being steps away from the beach was so convenient!

The location of this resort is exceptional. The unit we stayed in was a little tired but clean.We would go back to Longboat Key in a minute, and we would stay at Sand Cay again if we could get an updated unit closer to the water.

I would chose a different unit next time. Needs updates and closet doors and carpet and a working icemaker.

Spacious apartment, very clean and in good condition.

This is a great property right on the beach. Very clean. The beach was not crowded. They provided all of the beach toys, umbrellas, chairs etc... at no charge. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook at the residence. Laundry facilities were free. The management team was friendly and available when needed. I highly recommend staying here for the price and location.
