Unit #207

We just love staying at Sand Cay, I have recommended it to other people, most of all it is very family oriented, important to us as we have grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews of different ages.

We had a great experience. There were plenty of beach towels and chairs to go around. I do wish there was a towel exchange so we didn’t have to use the same sweaty towel from the day before. Not having a washer and dryer in our unit made cleaning them a bit of a hassle. There are plenty of free washers and dryers so we never had an issue of not being able to wash laundry when we wanted. The is the one upgrade to the unit that would take it to the next level. There is an ENORMOUS storage closet that could easily accommodate a washer and dryer. Again, our unit was incredibly cute and nicely updated. It could have been cleaner, however. The floors left our feet black so I ended walking with flip flops on after showering. I even mopped the floor myself and it was still dirty. The toilets had rings in them as well so they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. I found toilet cleaner in the closet and squirted it in the toilet but without a brush it was futile. There was also something orange that had been dropped/spilled on the deck from a previous guest. Despite these small details, the unit itself is worth a visit. The closet space in the master bedroom was dreamy and there were so many hangers. The mattresses were FIRM. Both my husband and I had sore hips in morning when we woke up but I think we’re spoiled with a great mattress at home. The office staff is phenomenal! Super friendly at check in and any time I had to pop in for this and that.

This was our second year renting at Sand Cay, and we continue to be so impressed with the beautiful property and the people. Incredibly helpful office staff, great location, and very clean and attractive units. The access to pool and beach were amazing, and we enjoyed our nightly sunset viewing! We can't wait to rent again next year

Loved the place

We stayed here for 4 nights attending a family reunion and had a great time.Our unit was very clean, had everything we needed and right on the beach. Melissa was exceptional to work with and helped accommodate a date change due to airline cancellation. Highly recommended.

We had a quick visit to Longboat to celebrate my grandmas 95th birthday. Our stay at Sand Cay unit 207 was excellent. It is so comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything we needed. We will continue to stay at this location for future visits.

We were a large group. Our unit was the best! Nice furniture, modern kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchen utensils were great. We really appreciated it because we love to cook. The only thing I would change is the mattress in the master bedroom for a firmer one. Thanks!!

Bathrooms need to have grab bars in the tub/showers.A king bed in the master would have been a plus.The kitchen was vey well equipped and so clean!.Loved the minimalist feel of the unit.

Great location, easy access to beach, nice pool area. Clean and upgraded condos.

Our family had an amazing time at Sand Cay Resort! The condo exceeded our expectations and was extraordinarily clean. We loved that in our condo a beach caddy filled with toys was available to use. Private beach area was also a huge perk! Coming from our area where beach are mostly crowded it was such a pleasant change to have the place pretty much to ourselves. Every encounter we had with staff members was pleasant as well. We would def stay here again!

I have been vacationing at Sand Cay since the 80s and now I get to bring my own family here to make incredible memories. The staff is super friendly and the resort has everything you need.

We were very happy with our stay at Sand Cay. The unit and property were well maintained. The office staff were all very friendly and helpful however It would have been nice to have extra bed linen. There were extra pillows in the closet but no pillowcases available either in the unit or at the office.We would definitely stay here again and recommend Sand Cay to our friends.

It was great! This is our second year staying here and we loved it. The kitchen in our unit just needs some updating with plates, cups, etc. Didn't really have a full set of anything. Could also use a mop in the unit. We had some water and wet sand tracked in and I had to use several beach towels to clean up.

Perfect location! Everything was so easy. Condo we were in was a little out of date but was clean and on the beach.

Second stay at Sand Cay. Lovely, well maintained resort in beautiful location. Unit 207 has some wear but has recently been sold and new owner is aware according to office. Overall, the unit was clean and had everything we needed for our month long stay.

We rented 2 units to house us all. It was super clean and so lovely. We were enjoying the beach each day and the sunsets were breathtaking.

This unit was very clean and located steps away from a beautiful beach. The property supplies the beach chairs, toys for the kids, and also has a great BBQ area complete with multiple tables for several families. It was an awesome vacation and I highly recommend this place to vacation and will be back.
