Unit #204

The unit was spacious and clean! It was located on the second floor which made for a perfect view of the ocean. Not much negative except the beds were a bit uncomfortable and if you plan to use the sleeper sofa be sure to pack extra padding. Also, there were only 3 coffee cups, so if you are a coffee or tea drinker, pack your own cups. Everything else was great. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The beach was as beautiful as always.

The view from this unit is spectacular! There's a good assortment of just about everything you might need in the kitchen. There was a not an umbrella for the patio, but we got lucky with shade and a constant breeze when we used it. (which was a LOT)The beach umbrellas were completely shredded and not usable. We left those at the outdoor trash, and we were able to borrow 2 from the front office. There was only one working clothes drying rack, but we made that work. Beds and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. There is not a washer/dryer in this unit. We all loved the two comfy rockers at the window where you can sit and get an amazing view!We would happily rent this unit again!

We had a very nice stay at Sand Cay. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The view of the beach and the beach was spectacular! Very nice stay!

We were very pleased with our stay in Unit 204. The views of the Gulf from the windows and the balcony are breathtaking. The condo had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The unit may need some additional standard drinking glasses if more than 4 people staying in the unit but for the 2 of us it was no issue. The property is centrally located in LBK and is very well maintained. The staff are so incredibly friendly and quickly assisted with a minor TV issue. We would definitely stay at Sand Cay again!

Perfect for our family with four young children. Right on the beach. Very clean heated pool. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and beach/pool toys to borrow. Free laundry room right next to the pool. Office staff very helpful. Within a mile of restaurants and parks. 5 min drive to Publix. So convenient yet quiet. We will be back!

Everything was just so easy... Your office person, Sara was absolutely delightful and welcoming, and then the condo itself was beautiful with an outstanding view of the ocean... It was all just wonderful.

We stayed in #204 last year and it definitely needed some updating. We were pleasantly surprised this year with the amazing kitchen remodel and new bedding!The only thing we didn't like are the harsh light bulbs in some of the lamps and fixtures. There were plenty of towels and the unit was clean when we arrived. Having free laundry on site is a MAJOR bonus! We had an issue with the WiFi and I went to the office about it, within 5 minutes, someone was at our door to help us and got it up and running. There was also a pretty significant water leak coming from the unit above one morning. Once again, I went to the office and maintenance was there within 5 minutes. They were both courteous and efficient and also cleaned up after they were done. We've NEVER had such fast help when an issue arises anywhere else we've stayed over the years, it was so appreciated and didn't hinder our vacation at all. The beach chairs provided are absolutely perfect and the beach is beyond wonderful! There are lots of fun restaurants nearby and St.Armands Circle is a great place to shop and eat. Columbia Restaurant at St. Armand's is top notch. We tend to stay "home" more often than not and use the kitchen and grills because it's so easy and you never have to leave the incredible view! Highly recommend and will definitely return!

We have stayed here for years. This is a great location for the beautiful beach. This is absolutely one of the best places for a family vacation. I rented 204 and 217. 204 could definitely use new furniture and blinds but everything else was good. 217 was clean and furniture was in good condition. We will definitely stay here again for our family vacation.

We have been coming to Sand Cay since 1977. We took our kids here and now we take our grandkids to Sand Cay. The facility and the staff are the best. Just wishing was a non smoking property. They allow smoking on your balcony which is not good if your neighbor smokes and it blows your way. Other than that -best family place ever!

Great location. Grounds well maintained. First night problems--no internet or WiFi and one bathtub was clogged. Both repaired first thing next morning after contacting the office.

We loved our stay at Sand Cay! The condo was clean and comfortable, and the view was amazing! The staff was so sweet and very accommodating. Already looking forward to our next trip.

Good except for old and dated furniture, furnishings and interior decoration. Would be nice for there to be a washer and dryer in unit

We came here for Christmas vacation with my adult kids and their spouses. We enjoyed the view and the location to the beach. You cant get any better. We wouldve loved for the pool to be closer to the beach.The cons were the bedding was very outdated and needs to be replaced. Would've loved more bath towels as we only had 4. I had to run the dishes through the dishwasher as they had food on them. Furniture had some stains on them. I did speak to the manager about all of this. She apologized and they are working on fixing all this. Very spacious condo .

Sand Cay is a wonderful property in an ideal location. Everything you need for your stay is provided: free laundry facilities, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and also toys for the beach as well as items for other activities. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! The resort is well cared for and has a nice vibe. Grocery stores and restaurants are easy to get to from the resort. Our unit had everything we needed to prepare food when we wanted to. The unit itself was in good, not great condition and slightly dated, but the view was spectacular. The A/C, thankfully, worked really well to keep us cool! The beach is an absolute GEM, truly paradise!

When you walk in the door, you are in paradise! The view of the beach is breathtaking. Unit 204 is very comfortable and convenient, along with the view!! The office girls are wonderful! The are so helpful and friendly. Reservations are so easy to make online. Sand Cay has all we need. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Spent the weekend in unit 204 and it was the perfect set up for a relaxing weekend with family. The unit was comfortable, clean, and the view was perfect. Not too fancy and just what we were after. We played cards in the living room with a view of the gulf; sat on the porch to watch dolphins swim by; cooked great meals in the modest but well appointed kitchen; and had an easy time heading to the beach for walks and lounging. Staff at front desk were very welcoming and helpful. Got the sense that this is a place that people come back to time and again. We will!

Great location! Well maintained grounds. Unit was a bit dated but we spent very little time inside anyway. The view from the balcony was fantastic and we did spend a lot of time there in the evenings.This beach is so beautiful and one can walk forever.

Sand Cay Beach Resort is our number one getaway location. Condos and the resort property are always amazing. Our only challenge is figuring out how we can come down more than once a year.

Overall, it was great! Our particular unit could use a little update. Bedding and furnishings were old. The tv in master bedroom had a loose wire or connection. We had trouble getting it to stay on. Moved the tv stand around and got it working so left stand in middle of floor to not mess it up again.The view we had was awesome!

We loved our most recent stay at sand cay. The beach is stunning and the location cannot be beaten. The unit where we stayed is in need of repair and a thorough cleaning, but we did not come to stay inside so it did not bother us that much.

WE HAVE STAYED HERE FOR OVER 35 YEEARS. ALWAYS GLAD TO GET BACK TO SANDCAY. A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH EVERY MORNING. WE HAVE STAYED IN MANY DIFFERENT CONDO'S ON THE PROPERTY. YOU ALWAYS HAVE YOUR FAVORITE BUT THEY ALL WORK. THE FRONT OFFICE IS VERY HELPFUL WITH YOUR STAY. DO I HAVE A FAVORITE YES ALL OF THEM.

We had a good experience and knew what to expect because we went to Sand Cay last year too. These are not brand new buildings, but we’re ok with that. This year we picked a input much closer to the water, and we liked that, but the main living room window facing the ocean was covered with salt and dirt to the point where we couldn’t see out of it. I told the front office and they blamed it on the weather, but our personal observation was that ours was one of the only units that had this problem. Not sure what to do with that.This location is great and the beach is second to none.

Beautiful condo with great views of the gulf. Sunsets were viewed from the back deck each night.

The development itself is great. Sand Cay is well located with a gorgeous view. But our unit was super dated, especially for what we paid. Electric outlets didn't work, lamps flickered, bathrooms had water damage, decor was old and not comfortable. The unit was clean, but didn't feel very clean because it is run down. We will return next year but we'll request a nicer unit for the cost.The rental agents were super helpful and friendly, and made the process super easy.

this is our 2nd time having a girl cousin weekend at Sand Cay. We had a great time- the grounds are beautiful, the staff are so nice. We are planning another trip in the Fall.

My family could not have been more thrilled with our time at Sand Cay. What began as a stressful travel day melted away immediately upon entering our unit and seeing the Gulf of Mexico just feet away. The staff were wonderful, the entire complex was clean and well maintained. Our kitchen was very well equipped (shockingly well considering some rentals we have endured)...except for a scrub brush to clean some dishes, there was absolutely nothing we wished we had that was not provided. The whole place was very clean and cared-for. We would absolutely consider this a 'visit again' property.

It was wonderful, I loved this place!!! My goal was to bring my mother to a place that if she could not leave the condo that she could see the gulf waters from the room. The view did not disappoint. The only thing that I would change would be that I did not like having twin beds in the extra room but can get around that. Everything was really nice the condo was spacious and the minimal staff that we encountered were all so nice. The people that were staying there that we met all seemed very pleasant and we love the area. We cannot to get back again.

My husband and I came with our 3 young sons for a 4 night stay. It was so refreshing. We met several nice people staying there as well. We loved the view. My husband enjoyed cooking at the grill and chatting with the other guests there, it was a great way to meet people. The beach was lovely, and we enjoyed a snorkeling excursion. Next time I hope to get us all out for a jet ski excursion too. We will be coming back.

Sand Cay is a wonderful surprise. First stay here and it will be a regular vacation spot for us. The staff was friendly and helpful, the accommodations were comfortable, the view was amazing, and the beach area was beautiful! A must stay!

the expanded bedrooms are very helpful with our large family. the view from 204 is beautiful!I am only writing this to help with future renters.We have no complaints and would stay there 1000 times more! The kitchen could use an update with some new cabinets, counter tops and appliances. If you close the fridge too hard, the freezer popped open. we had to throw out our frozen food twice during our stay.The bathrooms could use a makeover too (light fixtures, medicine cabinets, shower, etc). All that being said, we love this property and can't wait to come back!
