Property has excellent location, and recent upgrades to grounds was great. The office staff is very helpful & friendly

This is a very nice well equipped condominium.

3rd time staying at Sand Cay. Location is ideal for proximity to beach and centrally within Longboat to get to St Armands or AMI via short drive or bike ride. Considering the hurricane in late Oct pretty much all stores, restaurants, and amenities at Sand Cay operational. Condo itself could stand for some replacement of couch pillows and steam cleaning of cushions. I will say this is 2nd time on 1st floor and if you have people above you it can be VERY loud with them just walking around. Since spending most time outside not a deal breaker but will consider the ease of access vs quiet next time. Also 2nd time have had issues with the shower/tub draining in bathrooms. If you have lot of people taking showers it would be bigger issue.

We had another great vacation at Sand Cay Beach Resort. We stayed in Unit 115 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our place was clean and comfy. We did have an issue with air conditioning not working 100% but once we notified the office they sent someone right away and he figured out the issue and fixed it. Was cool and comfortable after that! Weather was perfect and the beach was amazing!! Good food and great fellowship with our friends. Cannot wait until next year!!!

My family recently stayed at Sand Cay #115. The condo is beautiful! It is open, updated, and less than 100 steps to the beach! It is also very close to the pool! I would also like to compliment the front office of Sand Cay. They were so welcoming and friendly! We will definitely stay at Sand Cay again, hopefully in #115!!

I would describe this property with one word, "Worn". It REALLY needs some TLC in terms of painting, repairing paint cracks/chips, fixing the leaky kitchen sink faucet, and cleaning the smelly traps in all the bathroom sinks. Especially problematic was the very squeaky and broken down bed frames and mattresses. They were the worst I have ever slept on in a vacation rental and this is really saying something because we have rented all over the world. I am still nursing my sore back and shoulder after returning home 3 days ago. Additionally, all the couches and pillows were stained and in need of a good cleaning. The bottom line is this - if the owners do not or cannot maintain their rental, they need to reconsider using it as a rental. OR....using it less. It was the most worn out and overused unit that I have stayed in at Sand Cay to date. Also noted was a large amount of trash that was in and under the bushes near the buildings. We have never seen this in the 4 years that we have been coming to your resort. I thought that it might be related to the hurricane or just neglected? We thought that it was being blown their by the gardening guys.

Everyone was great except for neighbors the unit -who sounded as if the were a clogging team trying out for Riverdance, or a giant T-Rex, was afraid at one point they might come through the dining room ceiling.

Wonderful unit with great amenities. Conveniently located. Hope to return!

We had a wonderful week at Sand Cay. Our condo was clean, well appointed , and comfortable. The location was perfect. Easy access to the beach and pool. We loved it!

Condo was very accommodating and clean. Would definitly return. A anti-slip mat in the bathtub would be nice.

We vacation there yearly! Beautiful property, nice, comfortable units, and super friendly staff. This year our family rented 3 units and we had a mini family reunion! Wonderful!

Our stay at Sand Cay Beach Resort was exceptional. The location of the condo was spectacular, near the pool and with a view of the gulf coast. My family and I enjoyed the condo itself with its open concept floor plan, it was a very spacious area and we were able to entertain family and friends as well. Very pleased with our stay.

We have stayed at Sand Cay most every summer the past 13 years. This was our first time staying in Unit 115. The condo is beautifully decorated and in the perfect vicinity to the beach and the pool. I would definitely stay in this condo again.

This was our second year at Sand Cay Resort. We booked next year before we left; in fact, we booked next year shortly after checking in this year. Besides the beautiful grounds of the resort itself and the convenience of its location on Longboat, the staff is the best!

a perfect place for a family reunion. kids have room to run and play in safety, the units give individual family privacy, the beach is not overcrowded, the sunsets are magnificent, the grounds and units are kept immaculately clean. couldn’t ask for more!

The grounds were very well maintained, the office staff very friendly and helpful and the unit was clean. Loved being on the beach and enjoyed walking every day. Great location to other Florida keys and there are numerous restaurants within 20 minutes. Definitely will be coming back next year!

We had a great time the only thing is the unit could have been cleaner. I had to wipe down the window seal because of ants and it was filthy. The patio wasn't cleaned off and still had used beach towels on the chairs. Other then that everything else was great.

It was our first visit to Sand Cay Beach Resort and it was wonderful! Unit 115 was very well equipped with everything we needed. Having the washer and dryer was a huge bonus! The unit is beautifully decorated and location is perfect. We didn't use the pool but were steps away, and were never bothered by noise at the pool. Not much of an ocean view but we knew that going in. Still very centrally located and a short walk to the gorgeous beach! Overall, we had an amazing week!! We'll be back!

We love Sand Cay! My family and I stay there once or twice a year.Beautiful location, friendly staff and nice units.

Our stay was fantastic, as it always is. We’ve been coming to Sand Cay for almost 30 years and every year is better than the last. It’s a wonderful place to make great family memories.

This condo needs more storage space in the kitchtoen. It has no cabinet space to store groceries

Only complaint was couch in TV room was low and uncomfortable. I had 2 knee and 1 hip replacement, but will be back in June for same room
