Sand Cay was a wonderful place to stay with location and updated unit! The staff at check in and check out were awesome and the beach itself was breathtaking- even got to see some sea turtle hatching! Will def come back and stay -

Lovely place to stay. This is the second time we have stayed here. The condo we stayed in was clean and a great size for our stay. The beach is in a very close proximity and beach chairs are provided. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Wow, I can’t say enough what a great place. This unit is beautiful and the staff is the best I’ve ever dealt with on any vacation. This is a must stay best place on the island.

As always, Sand Cay never disappoints. This apartment was well furnished and had great amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything and everything you could think of. The beds were comfortable and both bathrooms nice. We like to stay on the first floor since it has a laundry room and that was well organized and had any small details you may need. It accommodated our family nicely and I would love to stay again.

Great location, beautiful property and helpful staff. Communication was excellent.

Enjoyed our stay overall being with family. The office staff went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. Condo needed to be more handicap accessible with grab bars and less decorations so guest could use the dressers and tables.

Clean room very spacious living room. access straight out to beach, not through lobby.

Great accommodations, amazing view of the Gulf Bay, beach chairs provided for the beach as well as grills. You will not go wrong with renting from this place.

We had a wonderful stay at unit 113. It was very comfortable and clean. Well stocked kitchen. We loved the convienence to the pool and beach. The heated pool was great! The included beach chairs were a nice convienence too. Longboat Key is so nice and its convienent to Sarasota/Siesta Key. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a great time during our stay at Sand Cay! We had a lot to do between the beach (just a few minutes of a walk), Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Mote Marine Aquarium, and various places that we dined at! The beach was never very busy because it was a private beach. The unit itself had a lot of things in it to help your time be as smooth as possible. The only complaint that we had was that we did not know there is only one parking space per unit. It may have been in fine print somewhere, but we didn't know. We had two cars with us and were stressed out the first evening that our second car may not have a place to be for the weekend or may be towed. Fortunately, we were able to find a guest spot that night and got a second parking pass in the morning from the office. Aside from that, we had a great time and look forward to coming back to Sand Cay in the future!

While some of the items in the condo were dated, the beds were comfortable and the condo was super clean.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. The decor and furnishings are a little tired and dated, but the location of this unit is awesome. Being on the first floor we were able to sit on the back patio and watch the kids go to the pool or play shuffleboard. The beach was an easy walk. We never left to go anywhere else on the island during our time here. The "extended" bedrooms worked great for us because we had two kids in pack n plays and there was plenty of floor space to fit them in. The only minor problem we ran into was there was no DVD player to play the movies my older kids picked out from the front office. We would definitely return.
