Unit #109

The property and condominium was very tidy and clean and looked very nice. Our condominiums beds very bad. They were super soft and where people sleep on them were sunken in. The main condo bathroom shower would not get hot. The sliding glass door would not lock. Outside that the condominiums furniture and kitchen was very good.

Our steak at Sand Cay resort was wonderful. The unit was in good condition, but the floor needs to be replaced or repaired when we went to make our reservations for the following year. I was disappointed to hear that we could not make reservations because of the dates, I hope this will change in the future.The office staff was very helpful throughout our stay. A guest

Easy walk to the beautiful beach.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The only negative was that the WiFi's access to the internet kept spontaneously dropping off.

Unit was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Unit is exactly as pictured.

Very pleased! Great location. Easy access to the pool, shuffle board, beach and parking spot. Convenient with laundry and children!

Sand Cay is the best vacation spot we have ever been to. It is so relaxing and care free. We love the private beach, and it's closeness to all of the condo units. Having all of the chairs and towels provided at no extra charge is a huge plus. Each unit has it's own parking space, so never a worry about parking. And the office staff is always so friendly and helpful. How can you not be happy living in paradise!!!

Wow is an understatement! we had such a great time with the kids it was very cozy and all the staff especially at the front desk were so accomadating! we are already looking to book next year!

Wonderful coastal and brightly colored unit. The outside furniture has been upgraded since the photo on the website, it is much more comfortable and newer. Many kitchen items for everything you'd like to cook including a slow cooker. My only concern is that the upper cabinets started leaking on both sides of the cabinets down each side where it was necessary to catch with bowls, there was that much water. Also, when opening up the cabinet all the dishes were half-deep in water. This was on 4th of July and our second to last night there so no one was available to check the leak. On our last night the ceiling in 5-6 places started leaking as well as the cabinet again. Major concern if that wouldn't been happening the whole time. We let the office know at check-out but they told us we need to "track down a maintenance man on the grounds". Um, no-that is your job. Hopefully, they actually fix all the issues with the leaking for the next tenants.

We LOVE Sand Cay. It's our paradise away from home. This was our 5th time and we already have our reservations in for our next trip. We love that it's a very short walk to the beach. Office staff is amazing!

Stayed here for a weekend getaway to visit family in the area. Original Unit (109) was having work done above which hindered our use of the patio. Office staff was awesome and moved us to another unit (120) with a lovely patio that did not have construction nearby. Both units were nice. However, 120 was an upgrade being more spacious inside, a nearly private patio and an angled view of the water. We had elderly parents with us and the patio was a must for them and we were very thankful the staff took care of us and moved us. Sarah in the office was AWESOME! This time of year was also wonderful, very little traffic and not busy on the beach at all! Super close to St. Armands Circle where we had shops and restaurants galore to choose from. We would stay in unit 120 again.

This was the 2nd time my family and I come here and we absolutely love the location and resort. We love the cleanliness and amenities and great. We already reserved for next year.

Sand Cay Beach Resort was the perfect getaway for our family vacation. The location is right on the beach. The resort and the unit were in great condition. The check in was easy and staff working around the property were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying there.

Our second visit to Sand Cay was again a relaxing and pleasant vacation. Longboat Key is a beautiful secret in Florida and a great alternative to the congestion in AMI. The office staff are wonderful. We have already reserved a week in October, and we will be back again next May!

We stayed in unit #109 and it was absolutely beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. This is our 28th year at Sand Cay and always have had a great experience. Looking forward to next May.

We rented #109 and it was nicely furnished and maintained. There was plenty of room for 4 people- did not use the pullout couch.

Sand Cay is a wonderful location in Longboat Key and convenient with a private beach. The units are well maintained and comfortable. The office staff is very friendly and promptly responds to all requests. The chairs available on the beach is convenient and much appreciated. A Publix is just a few minutes away. We loved the quiet and private feeling of Longboat Key over that of Anna Maria or Siesta Key. We used unit 109 as we loved the themed decor. Everything there was perfect. Our vacation was the most relaxing we ever had. We highly recommend Sand Cay and we will definitley be back soon.

This unit was recently updated and gorgeous. We had an amazing stay and would love to stay again. We had an issue with the sliding glass door not locking but it was fixed immediately (within 30 mins). There was a very faint smell of sewage in the main bathroom and it would come and go. The pull out couch could’ve been a bit comfier but we can’t complain.

Our vacation rental was great. We were well accommodated and had plenty of amenities for both inside the apartment and to take outside to the beach. The wagon was so handy for us and our small boys! Unfortunately, we did have issues with the A/C and it did not cool very well. To the point where we would sweat in our sleep. If this is looked at then the apartment would be perfect! Hopefully it’s just a simple fix but definitely shouldn’t be overlooked.

This place is just like the pictures. The colors and theme make the place homey and fun especially for the kids. Everything you need for the kitchen and cooking is there. Beach equipment such as umbrellas, balls, skim boards and a cart are also provided.

This condo was beautiful. Steps from the heated pool. Steps from the beautiful beach. It’s a wonderful place to stay. The condo was immaculate and very well stocked with linens and beach toys.

We had a wonderful time in Longboat Key. The newly renovated home was very nice and the location was perfect.

They have everything you need! Tennis & pickle ball stuff. Basketballs & shuffle board. My family loved it.

Unit could use some upgrades to furniture and carpet, but was very clean and plumbing and appliances worked just fine. Liked having the washer and dryer in the unit. Maintenance was very prompt with request to fix shower head. Great location, liked walking directly out of unit to the beach. Good central location on the island.
