Unit #104

The property is beautiful with flowering and lush green grounds just steps away from the stunning turquoise waters of the Gulf. The ground unit we stayed made the very short walk to the beach convenient and provided a place for our grandchildren to play after a fun day on the beach. Our upstairs neighbors, though, ran very loudly through the hall in their unit every day for hours on end in the early morning and at night, which was very annoying. This was our third time staying at Sand Cay but first time in a ground level unit. So, next time we’ll choose upper level. The unit itself was clean but dated. It did include a washer and dryer which was great! All in all, we had another wonderful vacation at Sand Cay!

What a fantastic unit. So close to the beach, very clean and well furnished. We'd love to stay there again. Some minor suggestions include a good set of steak knives, an ice maker and declutter the laundry room and closets.

This was our first trip to Sand Cay Beach Resort, and unit 104 did not disappoint. The unit was clean and it was in a great location for a quick walk to the beach. We will definitely return in the future.

We like the location of this unit. Wish the second room had 2 queens instead of one queen. So often we have our 2 grandsons there and have to bring a blow up mattress since the boys cannot share a bed. Noticed crack on ceiling when we were in dining room looking up. This unit is well supplied with dishes etc. would be nice to have additional sheets.

Unit 104 was very clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great views of sunset from our patio. The only criticism I have is that the Wi-Fi signal was not that strong, as it was fairly weak in the dining and living room areas. There was also little or no connection on the patio. A Wi-Fi extender in the living or dining room area would probably help with a better signal. Other than that, we would definitely rent this unit again.

This was at least our 5th time to stay at Sand Cay and it never disappoints. From location to beach to the pool to the unit itself, it is the perfect vacation spot for our family.

Had a terrific stay at this well-managed beachfront property. Beautiful, white sand beach, the emerald green waters of The Gulf, and wonderful restaurants and high end retail all within a few minutes drive. Hard to beat!

We had family at Sand Cay from throughout the country to celebrate my husbands birthday. We specifically wanted to stay in 104 since my mother would be with us and has mobility issues. The unit was nice however the AC was not working when we first arrived. Since it was after the office closed (4pm) we had to call a number for maintenance. They arrived to assist. Initially thought it was fixed only to realize a half hour later it was not. We contacted maintenance again and they were print to respond. We also had a ceiling leak right above the kitchen counter by the microwave. Maintenance said they would look at it once we depart. The only other item, BRING BUG SPRAY!!! The sand flees are awe full especially by the outdoor grilling area.

There were 12 of us in 3 units and we had a wonderful time.

As described. This was our second time to Sand Cay. Plan to come again. No complaints.

Just returned from Sand Cay Beach Resort in Longboat Key,FL. We stayed in Unit 104 which was very nice & clean. The grounds at the resort were beautifully maintained. Enjoyed sitting on the patio and seeing the ocean. Sunsets were beautiful. We would stay here again. They provided each towels, chairs & umbrellas.

Second year our family rented 104. Location steps from the beach perfect. Furniture and decor a little outdated compared with other units we have rented

The condo was awesome. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we could need. The best part was how close it was to the gorgeous white sand beach. Beach towels and Beach chairs are provided, which we used every evening to watch the beautiful sunsets. I would definitely rent here again.

Had a great stay at Sand Cay. Every was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back next year.

The unit is the perfect location beach front. Decorated so cute. Close to barbeque. Fantastic office staff they are so friendly and helpful. I would suggest removing carpet in bedroom and spraying. We had a lot of bites& wondered if sandfleas in carpet or bed being on 1st floor.. We did not go out at night and feel the bites occurred while sleeping. Also unit needs new bedspreads. Over all we really enjoyed sandcay. Thank you for a perfect vacation.

Awesome location. About 100 feet from the beach. Great pictures of the interior before we booked so absolutely no surprises. We picked this unit because of the mobility features for the master shower. We brought a riser for the toilet seat for added safety. The furnishings and appliances/accessories were in great shape and plentiful. We didn't need to bring anything extra (other than the riser). Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Beach is gorgeous and clean. Publix grocery store is just up the street. Overall, very pleased. Relaxing stay. We've been traveling to Longboat Key for 26 years and this by far the best property and stay. We will be back.

We were in unit 104 and it was a beautiful condo, fabulous view, well-appointed kitchen, beautiful dishes/glassware/serving vessels, lots of games and books as well as beach/pool stuff (toys, cooler, etc.). Furnishings were so lovely, comfortable and well done in relaxing hues and decor. Bed was comfy. Grills were great. Bunnies! Felt safe and secure. Landscaping was beautiful. Only complaint is the washing machine in the condo had weak water pressure but the dryer was great to have; also a dish drainer and ice cube trays/bin would be appreciated. We’ll be back!! ❤️

We had a wonderful time, but wish we had had a couple more days!

We have stayed at Sand Cay many times but in a different unit. We love the location so much. The unit was nice but could use some updating. The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything we needed while we were there. One suggestion, update the bedrooms especially all the mirrors in the one bedroom. The only other complaint was the lack of umbrellas. We went to the office several times and they kept telling us they would text us. We never did hear anything.

Just a short stay. I wish it had been longer! Beautiful views from a beautiful unit! Would definitely recommend unit 104! And Sand Cay!

very good except ice maker in freezer was not working and there were only two shelves in freezer

We’ve been staying at Sand Cay Beach Resort each year for the past 4 years and absolutely love it. This unit was definitely one of our favorites and will probably choose it again in the future, it was well laid out, nicely decorated, and the location can’t be beat!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Sand Cay unit #104. We picked this unit since it is so close to the grills, and has excellent gulf views. The property was clean and the unit was just as described and pictured online. We appreciated the extra sanitizing done prior to our arrival. Quick note - the unit does not have a can opener. All in all, we enjoyed our time at the beach and would recommend unit #104.

We loved the location of the unit. The only issue we had was that there were ants all over the kitchen. We had to throw food away because ants had gotten to it.

Initial unit (118) had damaged ceiling and hadn't been cleaned. Mgmt immediately moved us to another one (104) and was very gracious. Microwave in 104 didn't work and refrigerator setup was wonky (couldn't fully open the freezer door and there were tiny sugar ants everywhere. Beautiful Gulf view.

We have gone to Sand Cay twice a year for more than 7 yrs and always enjoy ourselves. The units are clean and very comfortable. The staff is amazing as are the views.
