Unit #103

After 23 years of vacations at Sand Cay we can't stay away. This year was the first year for two condo units as our family grows. Sara and the team are outstanding and always willing to make your stay 1st class. The friends we have met through the years continue to come each year to enjoy life. Love our little slice of paradise.

We really enjoyed the fact that we could walk out of our patio and go down to the beach and not compete with a bunch of folks to put our chairs at the beachfront. What was disappointing was that the unit that we stayed in which was 103 had a ton of mosquitoes. The other thing that we were disappointed with was that when we arrived early on a Monday, we asked if we could check in early and they said they would let us check in as soon as we could and when we asked what time that was, they said certainly by 3 o'clock, which was the regular check-in time. We were told that they would call us to let us know when we could check in and they called us at 3:15 which was after our regular check in time which was super disappointing since we knew that the room hadn't been booked since Friday, which was three prior days prior to our check-in. I liked longboat key because it was quiet, but I didn't like this particular property because the front desk ladies were not accommodating. We didn't bother to call them with any issues that we had with the room because we didn't want them to ruin our trip with their already proven lack of customer service. So long story short, long boat key a plus this property not so much.

Room was very clean and newly remodeled with a short walk to the beach. Very friendly staff - would recommend!

We’ve been coming to Sand Cay for 32 years. Our daughters grew up coming here and both had their honeymoon here. Our family comes down as much as possible. It is very family friendly, has a great beach and pool. We’ve stayed in many units and they have always been clean and well equipped. Unit 103 is updated, very comfortable, offers an extra den/sleeping space and has panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico. We loved our stay and will be renting this unit in the Fall of this year! Thank you to the office personnel for helping make our stay an amazing one; especially Sarah!

The condo and overall resort were great. The property is well maintained. The condo was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with standard items in the kitchen and bathrooms. 103 has great Gulf views and easy access to the beach.

Wonderful family vacation. Wish we all could have had more time together in this wonderful, relaxing environment. Sand Cay's staff was wonderful, and extremely helpful and friendly.

Perfect location. Loved the unit . Would be wonderful to update unit. Needs old carpet out and new bedspread. The office staff is amazing and so helpful. We love coming here every year with our family. Thank you for the memories.

We have been coming to Sand Cay for 20 years. Our children's annual vacation were all beach vacations at the beautiful Sand Cay.

We have been coming to Sand Cay for a few years and absolutely love it! This was our favorite unit so far, updated with wood floors throughout. The stove and oven could definitely be upgraded, but otherwise we were extremely happy! The sunsets are truly amazing.

What a nice place! 1st visit to Longboat key. It was relaxing, the condo was great. It was clean and you can tell it was updated recently. Staff were friendly! We have already recommended friends to Sand Cay!

Great location, directly on the Gulf of Mexico. The unit was clean and well stocked with everything you need. A great place to relax & enjoy the beach. Lots of room to spread out after a day in the sun!

Wonderful time in 103. The Gulf was beautiful as well as the weather. This was our 20th year coming.

The unit was just as described on the Sand Cay site, and my wife and I had a great time. Th views from the patio were beautiful.

Overall the condo was ok but the windows were awful. If I owned that condo I would wash the windows monthly. It was such a great view but with the windows so dirty it was awful.

We had a wonderful stay at Sand Cay Resort. Our rental was newly renovated, so fresh and clean with great views of the water. The beach was right out the door for long walks/ running, bocce and enjoying! And who doesn't love the gulf of Mexico views and sunsets?For our personal needs, the MB closet was small, so since we didn't need the other bedroom, we used that one.We also missed having gas grills, they were all charcoal grills. So we enjoyed the local restaurants and cooked in the well stocked kitchen! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Despite the disruption of Hurricane Irma during our stay the vacation was everything we hoped for. Great room location and beautiful beach.

It was perfect! The condo worked great for the 6 of us and was right on the beach

Our our second stay at Sand Cay resort. Wonderful amenities. The pool is great and we loved our unit. Great to have a washer and dryer and the steps from the beach. Only issue is there’s no place to put the food so we had to place things on the counter. No real complaints and would go back again in a heartbeat.

we love staying at sand cay. we have been coming to this place for many years and our son has grown up coming here for vacation every year.

This was our third year in this unit. It is a great location but it really needs an update. Such as rugs, furniture. Needs to add space for food storage maybe in the laundryroomMy rating is for the unit not the Sand Cay which is great

Great place to stay; Gulf of Mexico only a few steps away from any condo unit; super size swimming pool.

This is a fabulous condo, especially for older persons who hate dealing with stairs A mere 75 steps to the beach! And the sunsets are incredible!

Gulf beach only a few steps away from any apartment. Room was very clean with no problems of any kind.

Beautiful gulf waters with great sunsets each night. Only complaint were ants in kitchen but I guess the first floor is more prone to this

Been staying here for years and we will be coming back next July
